Free TOEFL Complete the Words Practice
Train the Complete the Words task with original TOEFL-style paragraphs. Use context, grammar, and spelling clues to restore the missing letters.
The goal is not to guess isolated vocabulary. Read the whole sentence, identify the word form, and use the surrounding meaning before completing each word.

Reading strategy
Practice with a repeatable method.
Read past the blank
The next few words often reveal the grammar or meaning you need.
Identify the word form
Decide whether the missing word is likely a noun, verb, adjective, adverb, connector, or function word.
Use every visible letter
Treat the letters already shown as constraints, then confirm the completed word fits the sentence.
How the task works
Use the paragraph, not just the unfinished word.
Complete the Words asks you to restore missing letters while keeping the whole paragraph meaningful and grammatically correct. Vocabulary knowledge helps, but context and word form are just as important.
